lots of static. even if the transmitter is 2 inches away from the radio. also tried putting it near the antenna.

i was so excited when i bought this. i quit listening to my radio in my car and just listened to my zen. but one day after about 9 months it just quit working. i changed the batteries a couple different times, but to no avail. while it worked it was great, but i expected a longer life than 9 months.
