I give it a perfect score. All I can say is it's saved me many a time. Only once did I get a ticket from this baby, but no detector would have saved me from that ticket.

Cop was waiting on the bottom of steep incline of a hill. His radar aimed right at the cars going over the top, there was no way to slow down in time. For this, I don't blame this detector as I suspect ANY detector wouldn't have been able to alert anyone in time.

It also surprises me how far it sometimes starts beeping and thecop is like a mile and a half or more away. I'm truly impressed. I bought the extended warranty for 3 years for it and I'm glad I did.

Had it break down twice for the same problem in the same town. I'm beginning to think it's something about that town rather than something about the detector.....but both times customer service immediately took it back and shipped it back pronto. Dealing with BELTRONICS has been a pleasurable experience and I'm happy I purchased this model...AND...will purchase another BELTRONICS in the future whenever the time comes.

Just got this in my second vehicle. I have used a Valentine One for years and loved it a lot until I got this one, which is superior. Had Escorts too. This one is by far the sleekest, most easy to use. In City mode, very few false alarms. Range, display, and sensitivity excellent. Can program many preferences and settings easily. Gets very high reviews on national testing sites too.

Bought it 2 weeks ago from circuit city. On the way home it saved me twice, once it started beeping from about a mile away, the second time it even gave me enough warning around a steep incline, and sharp turn, allowing me to slow down. The blue led screen is definately a plus becuiase it is easier o see through a sun glare than the red display. the voice alerts and plethora of different tone beeps make it simple to see what type of radar is coming your way. Saved me a couple times, and the custom buttonsallow you to change the volume and display strength with ease. I have had a Cobra and a whistler 690, and this bel rx65 blows them out of the water, and for not much more money. Rarely gives off false signals. DEFINATELY worth the money.
