Ok, at first was a bit hesitant to buy yet another Bissell item and deal with defects(had a steam cleaner with issues), BUT this vacuum is great! Not one problem with it. I have had it for a few years now and never regretted spending one penny on it.You really have to keep the filters cleaned(the foam ones are washable and last for a while, canned air blows out the other non washable one to save a couple of bucks until you have to buy a new one.) if you want it to work at optimum levels especially withhomes that have pets. I am amazed at how much stuff is in my carpets even if I clean every 3 days or so. I have allergies, so I like to keep up with a clean house and this vacuum does well in doing so. The only thing I would change on it is to makethe hose longer so I can really reach. It can be awkward at times when you are stretching to get at some cobwebs or working on stairs. I really like the turbo attachment. I can also say that their customer service goes leaps and bounds when you have aproblem with your Bissell products. More companies should follow their lead when a customer is trying to get assistance about a product.

Simple machine but powerful. Can be adjusted to clean wood floors: Bagless. Dont do what I did and break the belt on the first use. Even changing the rubber belt was easy, no tools required. I did not give this unit all 5s because this is a mid-level vacuum.
