Actually cut my hand yesterday trying to clean out the pot. Our counter has never been cleaner because it's always being wiped after the coffee pot drips about a teaspoon each time we pour. In addition, getting the last cup is virtually impossible and means taking the lid completely off and turning the pot upside down: then we get several tablespoons of coffee on the counter.
The stainless carafe is durable but I'd really rather see how much coffee's in the pot.

The first one I received had part of a little tab on the brew basket broken off. When I made coffee the brew basket would swing out part way through the process. The replacement is OK.

I also cut my hand trying to clean the pot. I had to buy a bottle brush.

The coffee doesn't seem to have as much flavor as that made with my old Braun.
