This coffee maker is a waste of money. after it makes your coffee, it shuts off and does not stay on to keep your coffee nice on hot. and after you turn the button back on, it shuts off within several seconds. and after that it won't turn back on. If there was a lower rating then 0 that would be it -10

Reviewer from Ornage (sic) county doesn't understand what thermal carafe is used for, and that it has no heater. As a result, you never get burned coffee. It stays hot for a while, and if necessary because u leave it sit too long, u can always reheat acup in the microwave.

This maker has a thermal carafe so must shut off when done brewing!! Thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for good long time and flavor is very fresh. If you want the maker to 'stay on'?...don't get one with a thermal carafe!! This is a quality product for an excellent price!
