Features

Label CDs and DVDs: Use the Casio Disc Title Printer to quickly and easily label your CDs and DVDs. You’ll get crisp, professional-looking results without the hassle of applying labels.

Print area: The CW-K85 is a thermal printer that features a 5/8” x 2 15/16” print area. On a typical CD-R, you can print up to eight lines above and eight lines below the center opening, for a total of 16 lines.

With or without a computer: This printer includes a built-in keyboard for stand-alone operation and USB cable for easy hook-up to your PC.

Included software: The included software features step-by-step templates and runs on Windows® 98, 98SE, Me, 2000 Professional,or XP.

Great Disc Printer

After months of debating whether I should get this printer I finally made the purchase. I was very reluctant to buy it due to its expensive price tag.

Pro:
Unit can be used without PC
Allows you to hook up to PC for more control
Quick (does a disc in about 6 sec)
Great Battery life
Easy to use
Very Professional Looking

Cons:
Does not work with all disc
Limited font choices when not hooked to PC
Software is not the best, but it works
Expensive, but its does what it advertises

After many test, I have found the Circuit City Nexxtech Disc to work the best. You need a disc that has no writing or graphics.

The ribbon that comes with the unit last a long time. It was rated to do 40 disc, but I got close to 75 disc out of the first ribbon.

Excellent product for the price and it's job. I have not used it that much to write a detailed review but from what I have used it for, so far so good. It's very user friendly, easy to use and prints on discs very well. I will recommend.

This is an excellent printer for DVDs & CDs. The manual is pretty lengthy, but if you read up on the basics, most of the rest is pretty self-explanatory. Have only used it as a stand alone (not hooked up to PC), but so far I am very pleased with it. RIght now, Circuit City has a 10% off code making the price about $67.50. That's the best deal I could find on this model. The full qwerty keyboard makes this an easy one to produce great looking labels quickly. I have used it with DVD's that had raisedwriting on a horizontal strip across the middle and as long as the text you are printing doesn't contact the raised lettering it looks great.
