We were thrilled with this item for a while. Only complaint at the beginning was a constant humming sound when it was plugged in. We dealt with that by pressing the Ground Fault test button when we finished drying our hair, then pressing reset when we wanted to use it. I suppose we could have just unplugged it, but then we would have had a hanging plug.

Then, one of the clips that locks the dryer in place broke. It still would stay in the holder (as long as you didn't bump it very hard), an issue we were willing to live with. Then last week there was a spark that jumped from the dryer to my head !! Now the dryer does not work on high power. Probably a good thing since we don't want any more sparks. We unplugged it permanently. Now we are looking for a different brand of wall mount dryer.

We do NOT recommend this model.

This is the second one I have owned the first lasted about 7 years. This has been an excellent appliance one I use every day. I like the fact that it is always conveniently within easy reach. It is easy to mount and easy to use and to put back into its holder. I recommend this appliance to anyone that want a convent to use hair dryer.
