This is one of the least thought out design for an armband.

This is one of the least thought out design for an armband. You cannot see the screen so even though you can manipulate the bottons through the covering facric you cannot see what you are doing, so what is the point. There is no access to the on-off switch either. You have to remove the unit from the arm band to do most anything. A simple design change of making the cover over the screen with a transparant plastic fabric would still retain the waterproof quality but add visibility. Very poor design.

I use the Zen for audiobooks so need quick access to the bookmark feature without having to unstrap the whole armband.

This band is very awkward to get around your arm. It is very time consuming to put it on by yourself unless you have someone to help. (who wants to do that every time they work out?)

The Zen fits inside a pouch that completely hides the player. You cannot see what is on the screen and if you want to make changes you have to completely remove the player from the band. This requires removing it from your arm since the opening on the band is underneath. When you do this you have to unplug the ear budssince they go through a separate hole. Sure there are markings on the band so you can find the buttons, but they are only good if you want to change the track or adjust the volume. I am thinking about cutting a hole in it and sewing in a piece of plasticso I can see the player.

The only reason I could recommend this thing is there are not many other choices available on the market. I am very glad that I did not have to pay the $29 original price that this product was offered at. This product is a BIGMISS for Zen.
