Not Actually Required & Overpriced

This adapter is listed as required for the Zen MP3 players. This is not actually true. The Creative Zen MP3 players are great however, how many portable electronics have you purchased that did not come with a power adapter? I have never purchased one myself without one included. Most stores do not even carry the adapter, although a universal adapter would work. This is not a smart move on Creatives part in my opinion So, this adapter is not truly required and is definitely overpriced. The Zen MP3 player calls for a power adapter that meets the following: 5VDC up to 2.4A. Anyone who has any type of portable electronic device, especially a cell phone probably has an adapter laying around that meets these specifications and will charge the MP3 players withno trouble. I found a cell phone power adapter I had that met the requirements listed and it charged my MP3 Zen Vision M in the time it stated it would take for the initial charge. No problems at all. It also charges when you have it connected to theUSB cable while connected to your computer for downloading music, or adding photos, etc. So, in my opinion, save yourself the $30 if you have an adapter around that meets the required specifications. It also is easier to use than the adapter that is supposedly required. My rating was based strictly on cost and I rated everything else a 3 because some people prefer to have what a company specifies as being required. Knowing what I do about the power adapter I can't justify the $30 for something that I already have that meets the requirements specified. Again, this is only my opinion. It works for me, so I am not spending an additional $30 for something I honestly do not need.

Works Great With my Zen V Plus

Works Great With my Zen V Plus, was only $4 more than the cheapest wall charger that did not Work With my Zen V Plus. Now I don't need a computer to charge my player.

Too Big, No Real Benefit, Returned It,

I have another USB to AC that is much smaller and does the same job.
I have purchased universal AC adapters in the past that were a third the size of this with several different settings. For it to do this one thing and be so large is a big negative forme.
