Not too bad, but sometimes iPod will not play in the morning

I had an issue with this unit. One good thing is that it controls the iPod from the clock and it will turn on the iPod at the alarm time and attempt to play it.

The only main problem with that is that sometimes an iPod Video doesn't start up right away.I've had days where it told the iPod to turn on, but the iPod was paused and no music was being played (the iPod icon on the LCD was lit up, so it actually was set correctly).

The solution was to set the Alarm clock on the iPod also. This way while theclock thinks the iPod is playing, the iPod itself will start to play something when the iPod's alarm clock function kicks in. (just set the iPod's alarm clock to turn on 5 minutes after your alarm is set -- haven't had a problem since)

For what it's worth, it's an OK clock. Just be careful not to smack your hand into the iPod sitting on the dock that's not braced. You don't want to break the connector by hitting the iPod when you're half awake and reaching for the snooze button.

It works with my iPod fine. It's the alarm that doesn't work all the time. Some mornings it doesn't go off. I bought it for the convenience of having an alarm & iPod charger & radio all in one but turns out it's not the convenient. And I use the annoyingbeeping alarm & not the radio or ipod.

I received this product and took it to my office the next day - I just needed something small for my desk. All morning the radio and iPod functions worked great, but then my iPod started randomly pausing, fast-forwarding and playing. I tried changing songs, turning the iPod on and off and reseating it in the dock. The product looks and sounds great (except for the phantom iPod controls). Unfortunately, I think I am going to have to return it.
