I can save all my lectures

I had the WS 300 that has only 256MB memory. The features are pretty much the same. The 331M feels flimsy compared to the WS 300. The black shows scratches and smudges more easily but you can't beat the memory capacity. I can save all my lectures on the the device itself and for backup I save them into my laptop without difficulty. I like that I don't need to delete any files on the device to create space for future lectures and I re-listen to them while driving. I got this device on sale as a Web special so it's been cost effective.

Long Battery life, great sound recording at a seminar or meeting. I have never ran out of storage. I can leave it on my chair to record when I leave a seminar and then listen to the playback on the plane latter. I found it works best with v-moda headset

I tried out the recorder in a restaurant meeting room. The sound volume wasn't all that good. I really had to turn up the volume on my iPod to listen to the lecture. But recording was quite easy. And connecting with the USB adapter to my desktop was asnap. I was able to easily and quickly copy the audio file directly onto my desktop computer, and load the file into iTunes and into my iPod playlist. I plan to put the recorder close to a lecturer for my next recording. Perhaps that will improve thesound quality and recordng volume.
