After a benchmark speed test from 4 seperate sources before installing this switch and a benchmark after installing this switch from the same four sources, the speeds are consistent (the same) fore and aft. It does what it is supposed to do, provide morebranches to expand your home or office network with more available connections. Works Great!

the third switch of this model I have put in home and office use. Use on networks with the Dlink extreme router (5 of those installed now). I stick with what works. No more blue stuff for me. Simply plug, play, and run. I copy large files over the network and cannot wait for the lower speeds. And it is power saving GREEN.
