I bought this one because it was the compatible adapter for the wireless router I bought. I was hoping it would work 3 floors down on my mother's desktop computer and to my surprise it does. I only registers a 'very low' signal down there, but the connection is fast and mostly reliable, so it seems more than very low to me. I would recommend it in an instant.

Warning ! this adapter doesnt suit for Window Vista. I tried to install from the driver disc that was provided and downloaded solfware driver from internet but it didnt work. I even tested it on my other computer and it still had the same problem. Therefore, Vista users should not buy this product.

It took me 10 minutes or so to install, I went to the web to download the latest driver and didn't use the installation CD at all. Fast connection to my network, easy to use software to manage connections to the interweb and all in all I have no complaints after 1 day of use.

I have as my OS Window's Vista 32-bit, 2gb's of ram, etc.
