Share printers and more: This multifunction print server is versatile and easy to use. Four USB 2.0 ports give you the option of adding up to four printers, multifunction printers or scanners to your network. When attaching new devices, the Quick Installation Wizard takes all the work out of setup and configuration.

Convenient to use: This server lets you send print jobs without having to boot up the host PC attached to the printer.

Enhanced wireless: RangeBooster G technology delivers faster wireless signal rates and greater wireless coverage than most other 802.11g devices. You'll spend less time waiting for print files to transfer, and you'll be able to wirelessly connect from greater distances.

Wireless expandability: The 10/100 Ethernet port on this print server can be used as a wireless bridge. This bridge lets any Ethernet-enabled device—such as a computer, digital video recorder or network-attached storage device—connect to your wireless network.

Data security: This wireless range extender features WPA-PSK, WPA-EAP and 64/128-bit WEP encryption for secure wireless communication over the network. With this level of security, you can rest assured that your data is kept safe from prying eyes.

I LOVE TECHNOLOGY N LOVE TO SEE IT WORK AND I AM A GREAT CRITIC.
THIS UNIT WORKED LIKE A CHARM.U DONT NEED THE CD JUST THE MANUAL.
UNLIKE THE OTHER REVIEWER WHO SMASHED HIS UNIT . HE IS THE REASON I BOUGHT THIS. U HAVE TO MAKE SURE U 1ST INSTALL THE DRIVERS FOR ALL THE PRINTERS U WILL BE USING.I HAVE 5 PCS - 2WIRED N 3 WIRELESS .
WITH 4 PRINTERS 2 HP ALL-IN-ONES N 2 SAMSUNG LASER PRINTERS 1 COLOR N THE OTHER BLACK N WHITE. I USE TO HAVE A BELKIN THEN A LINSYS PRINT SERVER SOME TIMES I HAVE TO RESTARTMY ENTIRE NETWORK TO GET STUFF TO PRINT. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW WITH NO PROBLEM , ALWAYS READY N U CAN EVEN SCAN WIRELESSLY WHAT MORE CAN U ASK FOR.BY FAR THEE BEST.

I'm a novice computer user... and it took me a long time to get the print server to work. Connecting it to the network was easy... getting the server to read the printers was easy... but I had to go to 'commonly asked questions' on the d-link website toget instructions on how to get the computer to talk to the server (wirelessly) and send print jobs to the printers... It turned out that I had to manually input the printers in the control panel of windows. I have an old HP LaserJet4L (I'm pretty sure that this is not listed on the compatability chart) and Lexmark all-in-one. Both printers are currently working fine off print server. I haven't done any big print jobs of 20+ pages yet... I think the 'installation software' is not very helpful. I ended up manually configuring everything.

The big draw for me is that it has 4 usb ports on it so you can hook up at least 4 devices to it and it has a data bridge so that I don't have to go buy a wireless adapter for my desktop which is not wireless. Thus, any computer on my network can print from the printers.
