Features

Home network: The D-Link Rangebooster N Wireless Router helps you create a wireless home network via a broadband modem connection. Share your broadband access along with photos, music, movies and more.

Faster: The Rangebooster N presents a faster wireless signal with up to 300Mbps signal rates, which reduces file transfer time.

Extended coverage: The Rangebooster N provides 4x farther wireless coverage than most 802.11g devices and decreases the number of dead spots.

Compatibility: This router is compatible with 802.11g/n and is backward-compatible with 802.11b, which allows compatibility with a variety of wireless devices.

Security: The router provides a firewall using Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) technology to protect your network from hackers and unwanted intruders. This router features MAC address filtering, parental control and also supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption.

Easy installation: D-Link's Quick Router Setup Wizard allows easy setup by configuring your Internet Service Provider (ISP) settings for broadband connectivity. It also provides easy connection for new wireless devices onto the network.

Solid Router - NOT WEP CAPABLE

I hardly ever will take the time to write a review, however I thought that I would this time. I bought this router yesterday, setting up the WAN was easy with the wired connections. The problem that I had was with my older wireless cards, that were usingWEP authentication, I could not connect to the router wirelessly.

I called dlink, who informed me that WEP is not enabled with this router and I would have to use WPA. After hours of dealing with the WEP, the solution was to find updated drivers to get myolder cards to use WPA.

My advice prior to purchasing this product is to make sure that the cards that you are using have an option for WPA. If not you will want to buy newer cards that offer the compatibility.

I wanted to get started on a simple yet efficient house router setup. This D-link has served the purpose perfectly without any mess and delivered great speeds. We've watched movies, made calls...all at crystal clear quality. The security features are adequate! Great value for money and a highly recommended product.
