Lag-free gaming: It also includes a 4-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit switch that connects Gigabit-wired devices for enjoying lag-free network gaming and faster file transfers.

QoS technology: D-Link’s Intelligent QoS Technology separates data into multiple streams, so applications like VoIP, video streaming and Online gaming stream smoothly to your TV or PC.

Compatibility: Extremely versatile, this router is backward-compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b networks, which allows to use and enjoy a variety of wireless devices.

Advanced security: The router provides a firewall using Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and NAT technology to protect your network from hackers and unwanted intruders. This router supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption.

This router is super fast! My whole network is much faster no having replaced a D-Link DI-524. The QoS feature is probably one of the best features. It will automatically 'look' for VoIP, Video Streaming traffic, etc and give priority as needed, but yoou are able to set priority yourself. I set VoIP at the highest priority and Torrent downloads at the lowest.

Some may not like the plastic case, especially if you are used to D-Links old style industrial aluminum cases, but I don't mind the look. Theprint server option is quite nice and I have yet to utlize the USB option, but will check that out when I get a chance.

The Web interface is much better than the old D-Link products. It seems they have put a lot of thought into the interface which includes a useful help section. I marked 'ease of use' down a bit, because I struggled a little bit with getting my VoIP up and running. I finally was able to figure that out, but I'm not sure how many people would dig as deep as I had to.

This router mightbe a little pricey for some, but if the price doesn't scare you off, it's well worth it in my opinion.

Easy to setup. Had it for 2 weeks and no problems. Extremely fast and strong signal!! Wish they had it in black.

Great router for our small network, easy to install, fast connection. It make the calls from my husband in Iraq nice and clear without being dropped off the internet like our old router did. Only one problem we found.... the security features are very good, so good that my other computers couldn't get on unless we put in their IP addresses on the main computer. Overall this router is worth the money spent.
