This adapter provides superior wireless coverage for larger homes and office or for users running bandwidth-intensive applications. It enables you to simultaneously make or receive Internet phone calls (VoIP), surf the Web, transfer files and stream High-Definition media when connected to an Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655).
Compatibility: Extremely versatile, this laptop adapter is backward-compatible with 802.11g and 822.11b networks, so you can still use and enjoy a variety of wireless devices.
Advanced security: This adapter supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption which allows you to connect securely to a wireless network.
Easy installation: D-Link's Quick Adapter Setup Wizard ensures easy setup by configuring your Internet Service Provider (ISP) settings for broadband connectivity. The D-Link Wireless Manager is also included to help you keep track of your most frequently accessed networks and allow you to join them quickly and easily.
