Faster and farther: Xtreme N technology delivers speeds that are up to 14x faster and go 6x farther than 802.11g devices. This adapter provides superior wireless coverage for larger homes and office or for users running bandwidth-intensive applications. It enables you to simultaneously make or receive Internet phone calls (VoIP), surf the Web, transfer files and stream High-Definition media when connected to an Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655).
Compatibility: Extremely versatile, this laptop adapter is backward-compatible with 802.11g and 822.11b networks, so you can still use and enjoy a variety of wireless devices.
Advanced security: This adapter supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption which allows you to connect securely to a wireless network.
Easy installation: D-Link's Quick Adapter Setup Wizard ensures easy setup by configuring your Internet Service Provider (ISP) settings for broadband connectivity. The D-Link Wireless Manager is also included to help you keep track of your most frequently accessed networks and allow you to join them quickly and easily.
