Although this charger is easy to use, the batteries do not hold charges long or over time. As I learned the hard way, the unit will charge batteries in about an hour, however if you are planning to install them in a device used infrequently, such a camera, the batteries lose there charge over time. The other problem is one of design. You have to make sure that the batteries set in the charger tightly or the will not charge or charge partially. Look for batteries and charger that charge slowly and will stay well charged over a year of inactivity.
