Get a i-pod instead

This isnt a good buy. My Daughter got one for Christmas last year, and this year she is asking for a ipod. We thought it was a nice solution for a younger child. (7) But the way you have to download music is not worth the cheaper price. The ear phones arelarge and HURT your ears. They also stop working, rather fast. I wouldnt buy this again!!!!

I purchase two of these for my daughter 6 & 7 for xmas 2007 and as of today I'm still unable to use them. It says 1st battery charge time is 2 1/2 hours in my case it was more than 15, and I'm having a very difficult time downloading music which I still have not completed out of frustration. I'm going to purchase them the ipod nano instead. I thought it would be very ideal for them to have the disney mixstix because it child like versus something more of a teenage to an adult item.

My daughter received this with the jam stand as a christmas gift 2006. She has had it for more than a year and it is still going just as strong as the day we got it. It is just as good as an Ipod (I have several) and very easy to add music to as well. Webuy lots of Kids Rock, Pop, Rap, etc CD's and I was very glad that I can download her favorites right onto the player. The music stick sounds great and using the jam stand, you can hear the music throughout the entire house! For those who find it harder than simply downloading music from ITunes, just buy the clips, there is really not that much of a cost difference.
