We had a vacuum cleaner that was going on 10 yrs old and it just wasn't cutting it anymore. We spent about 2 weeks researching vacuums and read user review after user review. Most of them always came back saying that Dyson was a superior vacuum for the money. We got our Dyson Slim and the first time we used it... I never would have imagined what our old vacuum was leaving behind. We have 2 cats and a dog in an apartment with multiple floor types(carpet, tile). We did the living room and already had filledthe collection canister. It was quite amazing. The HEPA filter is great too. The air in the apartment is so much cleaner and you can really tell a difference in the air after use. The light wieght design also makes the vacuum so easy to operate, that whatused to be a dreadful weekly chore with the old vacuum, is now something I like to do anytime I have a free moment. Very happy with my purchase!

All was excellent except for the delivery .... by FED EX .... first the delivery man came and realized he did not have my box in his truck , turned around and came back later while I was gone for a few hours . He left the box on my balcony , nice shinny day . I came back , the box was all taped up , with holes in it and its a very bad shape I took pictures before opening it I was worried to see what my Dyson Vacuum would look like . It was ok after all it seemed . I am satisfitied with it , I do agree that the back cord to vacuum corners and stuff is a little to short but otherwise it does a relly nice job ...for a houseowner that has 2 boys that brings in dirt in the house on a daily basis .
