10.2" widescreen: This DVD player boasts a 10.2" diagonal widescreen (16:9), color LCD screen so you can see all of your favorite movies the way they were meant to be seen.

Great Picture, But I Took it Back

I bought this for our 10 hour drive to and from Myrtle Beach last week. The screen size was perfect and I was very impressed with the picture quality, especially for the price paid. We had it suspended between the front seats, which was perfect for twokids viewing this together. We didn't use the headphones, because our 2 yr old isn't quite ready for that yet. The sound was not loud, but it was sufficient.

Now, I'll tell you the downside of my experience and why I gave such a low rating on the easeof use. We may have just gotten a lemon, but from the first DVD we tried to watch the picture would freeze every few minutes. There appeared to be a short somewhere, because after a couple hours of frustration trying to get it to play a DVD (any DVD) Ifigured out that it would normally start playing after adjusting the angle of the screen (sometimes multiple times). To say the least, this made for a very unenjoyable drive as I had to do this every 3-10 minutes. I returned this when we got back from our trip.
