I was a little worried about the quality of this unit, but it doesn't sound too bad. It could have a little more of the bottom end, but it gets the job done. One cool feature is the remote has a menu and enter button allowing you to control the ipod menusand select different artists without ever touching the ipod.

The unit came with seven different adapters for the different generations, it didn't seem to work with my iPhone, but I may have been doing something wrong. The unit also has a rubber bottom the prevents rattling noise and keeps it from moving around when you crank it up.

On the back there is an audio input for other devices to use and it has a composite video output and a headphone jack.

I absolutely love this speaker system for my ipod. First, it comes with multiple adapters to fit virtually all makes of the iPod. I live in a condo and this fills the entire place with great sound. good bass, which was surprising. You can actually control the bass and treble levels which is nice as well. my only complaint as far as the features go is that there is no way to run it off batteries. however, I bought a power converter for my car so i can use this in my truck for tailgating which is whywe bought this initially. the remote control is handy also and can utilize all the functions of the iPod's click wheel. i'd buy another if needed one!

Once this dropped to $60, I thought it was worth giving it a try. And I have to say I was pretty impressed. For some reason ipod speaker systems like this are unbelievably expensive and usually not very good with much crappier units costing well over ahundred bucks. The sound is solid with no distortion. The remote works great as well on my 3rd generation nano. The unit itself is solid and built well and the handles are a nice touch. I use it as a clock radio and sounds system for my bedroom and Icouldnt be more pleased.
