I have a Sony DVP-FX701 portortable DVD player. I have replaced the battery pack twice in the three years I owned it. The Energizer ER-DVD-max was halft the price of the Sony or generic battery pack replacement. that attaches to the player.

This one is small and easy to carry with the player on planes or traveling. Long life and easy to find adaptor included adaptor for my model. I like that is has indicator lights for how full the battery is. With the Sony you have no idea if it dead until you go touse it.
Easy to find alternative to Sony replacement part at a much better price!

I only got about 2 hours of run time per charge out of this battery so I returned it for my money back and picked up a batterygeek universal dvd battery which is now giving me 7+ hours of run time per charge.

This was in stock at Sunnyvale shop. Did not work at all for SONY model due to too low voltage. Worked OK for Cyberhome model for 5 hours in my flight to Japan and 2 hours in return flight. Maybe not enough charging even though it says 'full'.Can't complaint too much for this low price.
