I love this vacuum, it's easy to carry to different rooms because it's so compact and light, the suction works better than many heavy powerful vacuums I've tried. If you have pets that shed a lot you might want to go with a vacuum specifically for pets as any other kind (including this one) will trap hairs in it's brushes/rollers. That said, I have 2 cats and a dog and I still prefer this vacuum. It's great to switch between hard wood and carpet, and the hose and tools are anything you'd ever need.
