Just bought this phone taking i back today

I purchased this phone and let it charge up. I programmed it and finally got to use it last night. There was a fuss sound in the reciever no matter how close I was to the base. I also had a hard time hearing on speaker phone and off speaker phone.
I willreturn today and try something else..
Maybe I am just lossing my hearing??

This phone is easy to use. Answering machine is great. It doesn't log hang-ups. The corded base phone sounds great. The down side of this set is that the handsets do not have the best sound quality. Often there is a bit of fuzziness on the line, although it is only on our end. I have asked those on the other end if they hear the static and they don't. Overall, I am not sorry I bought this phone.

Have had 3 of these. All seem to have problems with noise and features have problems. Caller id needs to be cleared each use in order to register properly. Phone book from P to Z will not hold names or numbers. Switching from base reciever to cordless isvery cumberson and noisy. Taking this back !!!
