GE Digital Messaging System

Features

Digital answering system: This fully-digital answering system records up to 30 minutes (including incoming and outgoing messages) so you won't miss any important calls. There's no need to worry about tapes breaking or jamming— there's a digital microchip that provides instant playback of all messages.

Automatic disconnect: This feature allows the outgoing announcement to automatically stop and reset when any phone in the house is answered.

Voice time/date stamp: Voice stamp recites the time and date that each message was received for your convenience.

Remote message retrieval: This retrieval system features a voice menu that guides users through remote functions, so that there's no need for a pocket card. If there are no messages on your system, the toll saver delays answering so that you can hang up and avoid wasting time and money.

Power: An AC adapter is included.

I bought this unit after my very expensive Motorola unit became junk after a year.The excellent message voice volume,clarity,and other user-friendly features of this unit at this price make it a good deal ! I'm an engineer by trade and enjoy high tech,but in this case keeping it simple plus the above makes perfect sense.

I'm sure there are more expensive answering machines out there with more bells and whistles, but this one does what an answering machine is supposed ro do. Answers the phone after four rings takes the message and delivers it back to you when you want it.Nothing better at the price.

The only flaw with this machine is that it tells you the day and the time someone calls, but does not tell you the date. Other than that it is very user friendly, clear and an overall good machine.
