Rock the rhythm, lead, and bass guitar tracks in the follow-up sequel to the Best Music Game of the year of 2005. Form your guitar duo and shred riffs cooperatively or go head to head in all new multiplayer modes. With over 55 tracks to rock out to, you'll go from Guitar Hero to Guitar god in one press of a fret button. Choose from multiple rock characters and jam at concert venues that grow in size as your rock career progresses! You'll start your rock career playing small clubs and bars, but if you play well you'll work your way up to stadiums and arenas.

Wow, this game is awesome! The setlist is amazing, but I wish there were more master tracks. The graphics aren't great, but who's looking at the graphics anyway? Guitar Hero is meant to make you feel like a real guitarist, and it does that well. The Pros: - Basically, you're buying a wireless guitar and getting GH2 for free. HOW COOL IS THAT?! Good tracklist Very Challenging /
Cons: O.K. graphics, but who really cares? /

This game is awesome. I recommend it to anyone, any age.

Finally: compatible with GH3

We had tried psyclone guitars as a second guitar to GH3, only to have to return them. Saw that this was also an activision product we purchased it primarily for the second guitar to play with GH3. IT IS COMPATIBLE! It works great with GH3 and vice versa with the GH3 guitar to the game that came with this. We got a compatible guitar, and the bonus was additional songs to play.

I must say that I bought the 3rd bundle 1st for my kids for Christmas. My husband ended up playing it for 2 days straight. I knew then that I'd have to get a 2nd guitar if I wanted to see the kids get a chance at it, let alone myself. To date, I have now purchased guitar hero 2 (for the 2nd guitar) and Rock the 80's (game only). We all have a great time with it. The wireless guitars work excellent. I plan on buying any and all the hero games that I don't have yet. We all like the change of music every now & then. I do wish the games alone weren't $50 a pop. The 3 of them that we have now should keep us busy for a while or at least till a new one comes out.
