I bought this battery as a backup for the actual battery for my v6030 laptop. On average it outlasts that battery 3-1. It averages a couple 2 hour movies or several hours of games before dying. I can't even get 1 movie in with the original.

I bought 2. Loved the life of the original in my v6444us, but I needed more. Bought one. Loved the life of it, thought the cost to performance benefit was good enough that I bought a second one. Certainly a longer life can be expected if you enable the XP power saving profiles, but I'd rather have the perfomance, than batery life. Even with the upgraded 200G, 7200RPM drive, (from the original 120G 5400RPM) I have HOURS of life with these batteries!

Sure, the bag is now QUITE A BIT heavier :) but I need the 'away from a cord' lifespan sometimes. Actually, it really didn't add TOO much more weight than the four 250G external drives I carry with all my DVD movies ripped to them, and the two 120G drives with all my data! Nice product, and with the original battery and two of these, I can work literally all day away from the wall.
