Can't beat 25 HP DVD+Rs for $6.99

I've only ever made one coaster and that was with an HP disc. I accidentally burned the same DVD onto two discs, but I guess technically that doesn't count as a coaster because both copies played fine.

I rated the durability with 3 stars because I haven't used these discs long enough to give an accurate rating in that category.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the overall benefit of these discs as opposed to HP DVD-Rs is because the +Rs actually have a slightly less storage capacity despite the 4.7 onthe label, which is typical of all +Rs, though the quality may be better since +R technology enables dual layering in +RDLs. The RW logo is a misnomer. Like -Rs, +Rs are not rewritable, though attempting to erase a burned disc doesn't cause damage.

Sofar, I've burned 5 HP +Rs at a compression ratio of 52-54% with sound & picture quality that equals the source DVD. I have a brand new Sony player, so there isn't a compatibility issue with +Rs that might plague some older players.

All in all, HP quality, price and a lifetime warranty make this an excellent deal.
