The look and style of it is stunning when i took it out of te box it looked good but scratches show up easily.It is really quiet compared to my old a/c and my other new a/c in my kitchen area. I got it for my room because my old air condioner was out dated and basically I would say needed to kick the bucket. Overall I would recommend this a/c to everyone!

Looks alot better in person than the web or newpaper image. Kind of an amalgam of cheap parts with some surpisingly robust features. Did not like the cheap plastic lever that operates the fresh air vent, but it gets the job done. The filter is easy to access and easy to clean. The case is constructed of 'hydrophilic' coating that resists dirt and bacteria. And the cooling coils at the rear appear to be premium construction.

Performance: Wow! Very quiet. Had similar Fedders model before this, and there isno comparison. This unit is quiet. Does it cool? Oh yeah! Let's put it this way: I can't run it at less than 68 Degrees or it will run you out of a good-sized Master Bedroom. Has convenient remote, 3 fan speeds, and temperature control (down to 61 Degrees). It has an electronic stainless like front panel that is attractive.

Install: Less than 1/2 hour with included window panel and A/C support.

Pleasantly surprised with this unit, so far. Let's see how it does for the long run.
