Used this in a new house basement room. It is a 1,200 sf room that was at 92% humidity. In just a few hours it was at 60% where it is now maintained. Unit is super easy to use and effective. Only problem I had was with the 'tank full' indicator switch. It showed the tank was full when it wasn't. The light went off and the unit worked for me when I removed the tank and actuated the switch with my finger, so I just bent the switch so it contacts the tank each time. No problem.

The unit is very effective at removing moisture from the air. My usage is in an enclosed garage of about 200'. It will fill the tank daily and keeps the humidity during the summer below 60% at the 'normal' mark.

The fan is not particularly noisy, but thecompressor is.

The tank is well designed. It includes a handle and is well balanced. You will not worry about spilling it on the way to empty it. It comes out of and goes into place very easily.
