I bought this fan for my dorm when I was starting college. I like the noise, and it gets hot in here, so I have it running on at least low for the entire 9 month school year. So far, it's worked great for me! My junior year is ending and the fan is just show signs of it wearing down. I'd say it still has a few good months in it though. I'd also say: A+ for a cheap fan that works for nearly 3 years straight!

Just right for intended use...item was shipped in prduct box and was not protected by external packing. The product box arrived slightly battered from shipping handling (CC could have protected the item by placing them inside a shipping box with adequatepacking material). Fans work but I'm concerned about possible (unseen) damage as a result of the unprotected shipment. Product box is not designed for the stresses of shipping and handling. I like the product but not the manner in which it was shipped.
