Got for xmas 2007 and after just 3 uses the agitator belt broke. Good thing the belts are inexpensive to replace. Otherwise great suction and power.

I am very pleased with the vac. The suction is great! It makes my worn carpet look fluffy. I like the fold down handle - convenient for storing in a closet space.

I totally agree with the previous customer. .
I like that the filter is ina separate compartment than the dirt container. The filter stays cleaner. The only drawback is that the tools separate from the hose when using. The hose recoils and if you are holding the tool - the tool will stay in your hand and the hose coils back onto the vac. I have to hold the hose and not the tool itself - simple solution. If they could somehow lock together that would be great. When using the tools the brush continues to spin. I don't like either because I use it outside to vac out my car and it pulls dirt from the road into the vac.-so I sit it on my car mat - again simple solution.
Even so, I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it. Worth the $$$

I've had this vacuum for about two months and so far, I love it. Circuit City delivered it in two days with free shipping! It's very lightweight, easy to use and the suction is great. Much better than any of my previous bagless uprights. I should havebought a Hoover a long time ago. I didn't think I had a use for the foldaway handle, but this feature makes storing it in my closet very convenient without getting in the way of any of the jackets hanging up. I like that the filter is in a separate compartment than the dirt container. The filter stays cleaner and I don't have to pull the dog hair off of it like I have my previous bagless vacuums. The only drawbacks are that the tools and hoses tend to fall apart when you're using them. I wish they locked together like some other vacuums do. Also, the screen on the bottom of the filter cup needs cleaned with a brush after each use and I haven't figured out a way to empty the dirt and clean the filter without getting dirty yet. Even with these drawbacks, it's still a great vacuum for the price. I'm very happy with my purchase.
