Bought this instead of the Dyson. I've had a dyson before, and it broke on me. But I liked the hard surface cleaning of the dyson and missed it, so I went to the store to buy one. I saw this vacuum for half the price of a dyson and it said it cleaned hard surfaces. Brought it home, put it together and started cleaning.

On the carpets, this vacuum picked up carpet sprinkle that my old vacuum had left behind! On the wood floors this vacuum sucked the dirt up instead of blowing it around and left the wood floors without a speck of dirt on them (which is tough work with 3 young boys in this house!

End Result...buy it! You won't be disappointed.
