Good for the money, but I missed the $20 dollar rebate

I ride the Washington metro everyday to work. When using the ear phones that came with my iPod, I would have to either turn up the volume or loose some of the sound due to the train noise and chatter. I used them this morning and the music experience was very good. If you are looking to be in a sound proof room and only hear your music, I don’t believe that there is a product out there that will do that. But these ear buds do reduce the outside noise enough so you can hear and enjoy your music with very little outside nose. There was a couple talking rather loudly that I was able to totally block them out with these buds. The sound quality (especially bass) was very good. The bud design fits comfortably in the ear. It comes in three sizes to ensure that you have a proper fit. The main controller is a little big and bulky, but overall I am pleased with the unit. The unit comes with its own carrying pouch for the unit. You can spend a heck of a lot more money on a unit, but for the price, $59 online right now, I would highly suggest getting a set. I paid $79 for mine and I think that I got my monies worth.

I love these things. The ear buds are great. I listen to a lot of holophonic, or binaural music and environmental sounds, fantastic. I had another set of these and I was rather disappointed in the noise canceling feature, and they didn't sound all thatgood either. Ladybug one of my 3 My Irish Terriers, who are collectively known 'The Chew Crew' munched down on the earbuds thus destroying this set. I purchased a second set and holy cow what a difference they sounded much, much better, and the noise canceling feature worked a whole bunch better on the second unit. If you are disappointed in the sound canceling feature take them back there is something wrong with then. I have never used the Bose head phones so I have nothing to compare the JVC to butthe difference between the destroyed set and the replacement was like day and night. I have to agree the cords are something of a pain in the wazoo, but not enough to keep me from recommending these to anyone. they are a bargain when compared to other noise canceling headphones.

Very good sound, bass, and fit. To notice the noise cancellation go outside. Love it
