After looking at several other places these locks were about 1/2 the price of the others. At the time of purchase they were 19.99 with 5.00 mail in rebate. I got two, one for an external Hard Drive and one for a Laptop. The coiling cable is both good andbad. on one hand, I’m running all my cables through it that go to my laptop but on the other, if it's stretched to tight, (more than 2 feet, it can pull my Hard Drive off the shelf. a straight cable would be nicer. on one of my lock sets it was difficultto change the code but it was still very possible.

I two of these on sale. One of the broke when i set it to my personalize combination but i taking it back to the store to be replaced. The other one works great. Isolated incident
