Targus is better

I bought this lock over the targus defcon lock and paid an extra 10 dollars. It was compatible with my computer however, while Iwas learning how to use it the lock switched into set mode too easily without me noticing, due to its poor design. I ended up locking it to my laptop with a random 3 digit code and it only took me ten minutes to go through about 500 combinations. I do not recommend this lock due to its poor design and because the three digit code is too easy to break. Go with the Targus Defcon lock, it has 4 digits and the combination isn't as easy to accidentally switch. (Cheaper Too)

I bought this lock thinking I would not have to worry about carrying another key. One day the combination slipped back into the set mode without me knowing. Just by luck, I had not secured the cable to my laptop. The cable was locked onto the desk only. I thought to myself - this is really dangerous. When I realized what could have happened, I got real sweaty. This could have been an awful situation.
