I love it! I bought the Kodak NiMH 1850 mAh batteries (2 sets) to go with it. Best combination! Batteries run forever and the charger works as promised. Each battery stops charging when its done - as indicated by the little led going out. 3 hours max, thats it. Portability is great - compact, can easily take it on trips. Even the AC prongs recede into the case for storage. Couldn't be easier. Great product!

It is a 3 hour charger with the supplied 2500 NiMH batteries

This charger is labeled as a 1 hour charger and comes with 4 AA 2500 mAh NiMH batteries. To me this means that the charger will charge the 4 supplied batteries in 1 hour. This is not the case. The operating instructions that come with it contains the correct values. It takes 170 minutes to charge the 4 batteries.

It will charge 1-2 2500 mAh AA batteries in 80 minutes.

It will charge 1-2 2100 mAh AA batteries in 64 minutes.

It will charge 1-2 1700 mAh AA batteries in 55 minutes.

If you double the abovetime you get the approximate value for 3-4 batteries.

It will charge 1-2 800 mAh AAA batteries in 70 minutes.

It will charge 1-2 750 mAh AAA batteries in 65 minutes.

I am still waiting for the batteries to charge before I can determine battery life.
