Love the camera. Picture is awesome. Software is stable. EASY to install. No issues with laptops (had a Creative at first and it has USB issues) and using USB ports. Zooming, adjustments on video picture as in brightness, exposure, etc., great. Facefollowing is ok but I don't use it much. Low light is tremendous, right light and right sound work very well. In other words, camera and software are OUTSTANDING.

Now for the base. What is Logitech thinking? This type of base is on many of their webcams. And it stinks. Hate it. While it 'hangs' on the laptop flat panel, it is most certainly NOT secure. Constantly readjusting it. And it takes several tries to get it flat when putting it on a desk. Nothing like a tilted video.....

The base takes away from a perfect little pc web cam.....

i have been sporadically shopping around for a webcam for months, I found this on sale and the majority of reviews were positive so I grabbed it.

The installation wasn't difficult but you have to change the setting on the webcam program that gets installed but also in the video chat program you use, i.e. skype. After that it is a breeze to use.

The picture quality is pretty good, their is a bit of a delay but you get used to it.

The one feature that I like is the eyelid, the camera has a shade thatyou can open and close for when you want to be watched and when you don't, since I am a bit paranoid this feature is great.

Overall it is a good but, i didn't get it to perform miracles just to simply allow my mother to see her granddaughter who lives far away.

Bought this cam in hopes that it would be a good cheap webcam. The video was poor and slow. I returned it and bought two of the Microsoft 7000 models to use with Skype and they work GREAT.
