Crisp picture: This camera’s high-quality image sensor delivers crisp audio and color footage with a maximum 640 x 480 video resolution. Infrared illumination allows this camera to record movement at night at a distance of up to 6 feet.

Remote viewing: View live video and audio streams from any device that supports Windows Media Player, such as a cell phone. The included mCam™ software is compatible with Windows Media Center and all web-based messaging programs, such as MSN Messenger, Skype, Yahoo Messenger and AOL IM.

Be alerted instantly: Set your system to send you an e-mail alerting you when motion is detected.

Keep a record: Record and archive video and snapshots on your hard drive.

A breeze to install and use on my media center PC. It's great to be able to flip from TV to camera with one button. The 2nd day I had it hooked up I got an email at work when the cam detected motion. Very cool!! I then switched to watch the live videoand good news, it was just my dog! Night vision is so-so, about 5-6 ft but that's what manufacturer states. I'm gonna make sure my next cell phone's got media player so I can view the camera on it also.

Works the same as other $25-$50 cams. However, seems to be too bright that it looks black and white (I have 2 of these and this is true for both).
It must be the remote viewing capability (software) that makes them think it is worth more than the other cheaper cams because I don't see it in quality. Audio is hard to prevent echo effect (again on both cams different computers that had to problem with basic webcams).

The Image at 640x480 is one of the worst I have seen from a web cam. The sound pick is no good either. You get a lot more quality from a $35 dollar logitech.
