Take it with you: Don’t want to leave your music inside?  No problem. The Mi3005 can run off batteries when it’s not plugged in. The integrated handle makes it easy to take along wherever you go.

Compatibility: If you don’t have an iPod with docking capability, don’t fret. It has a line-in jack that allows you to connect non-docking iPods, CD players, other MP3 players and traditional portable audio devices.

Power: At home, just use the AC adapter to plug directly into the wall. And on-the-go, 8 “D” batteries will insure that your tunes come with you.

Wanted something portable to play a new iPod Nano on. Comes with a power supply which acts as a 10 to 12 foot extension cord, which is good to have. Can also use 8 'D' cell batteries when no AC power is available. Boom Box also charges the iPod so I didn't have to spend $30 for the accessory kit that was being offered when checking out.

There is no treble or bass control, but the iPod doesn't have it either. The iPod sounds good on it and the FM radio reception is good as well.

The really down side to this item is that it comes with several plastic adapters to hold in place whatever MP3 player you are using. The one for the iPod Nano would not allow the iPod to plug into the docking connector of the Boom Box. I had to widen the opening on the plasticadapter to connect the iPod to Boom Box. You can connect the iPod without the adapter, but the connector will probably break off. If I didn't any hand tools I would have returned the item.

This item is no Bose docking station, but it will do for now. Ifyou are good with hand tools (hand file) then I recommend this item.

Very poor audio control only volume. As the volume is turned up, the sound is distorted more. Not a very good product for the price. Will return!

Just bought one for my daughter and the sound is impressive for the money. We shall see about the durability over time. Simple to setup and simple to use. No bass or treble, but who really fine tunes that more than once then forgets abouts it? I would recommend it.
