Finally, a real alternative to iPOD

Perfect size, long battery life, and it includes the radio. I have become hooked on the podcasts from Zune. The NBC nightly news podcast is totally free and I can listen to last nights newscast when I walk into work in the morning. It does take some time to download but the sync to the Zune is pretty quick.

I originally purchased the black Zune 4GB but was put off my the dull matt finish. While the finish does not show fingerprints I managed to lose it on my desk. I exchanged it for the red whichhas a glossy and pretty decent resistance to scratches.

Unlike the new 80GB Zune the 4 GB Zune comes with cheap headphones, so be prepared to save a few bucks to buy a good pair if you don't already own a pair.

Watch out for Circuit City's return policy. While there is no cost to exchange, they charge a restocking free on open returns. It is understandable considering the number of freeloaders out there. Just be sure you know what you want before you buy.

I'm looking for an mp3 that is good but i recentley found a zune my friend owns and it has a great screen. The music is set up great and there are videos and pictures.
My problem is that if you have a zune pass, the music can go on to the zune but you basicly rent it after the pass is expired, u loose the music

I was excited about the new zune 4/8 coming out and since I own a zune 30, i was planning on getting one for my kids. However, when we looked at them we were very disappointed.

The screen was only 1.8' and dull in comparison to the others. Comparingit side by side in the circuit city store with the Ipod, sony walkman, sanza the zune screen just seemed fuzzy. We looked at more that one and all had the same issue.

having a zune 30, the wireless sync is useless. Why would you wait 1 hour to transfer songs to you device when it takes 5 minutes to plug in the sync cable and down load directly.

Yes you can transfer a song to another zune to share music. What if the other person does not have a zune. For me I just pass my player to the other person and say here, listen to a great song.

Need the zune software to transfer songs. I do like the zune software's marketplace and social. They are alot of full and a good way to share taste in music over the internet.
