I bought a set of 8 of these connectors and could not get them to 'twist and crimp' on to 16ga AR speaker wire. I tried installing several and all they did was twist and ball up the wire strands. They did not stay on.
My advice - don't get these.

I swear my speakers sound more crisp. If you spend money on equipment and wire and cables why not finish the job? They twist on. (Left, counter clockwise, the opposite way from right tighty) remember that and they will never come off. They snap in tospring terminals and post terminals nicely. I swear by them. I recommend these....
