RangeMax Next Wireless-N uses draft 11n technology to transmit multiple streams of data in a single wireless channel. This next generation technology delivers the speed you need to run even the most demanding of wireless applications.

This is Steady-Stream: NETGEAR's exclusive Steady-Stream technology creates consistent wireless connections—no more dead spots or dropped connections. Using multiple streams of data that dynamically adapt to interference, the RangeMax Next Wireless-N technology boosts your network coverage area by up to ten times that of standard wireless networks. It also maintains connection speeds up to fifteen times faster than legacy Wireless-G at the edge of its range.

Application support: The WN121T secures enough bandwidth and range to support file sharing, MP3 downloads, Internet phone calls, network gaming and multimedia applications all simultaneously and at consistent speeds.

I have had this for abou two weeks now! Very easy to install and works great with Netgear RangMax Draft - N router. Excellent reception!

At $100, I consider it pricey!rking for about 3 weeks and works just fine.


As my review shows, I thought that at$100 it is a little pricey, but like all technology, I would imagine that this is going to be half the price in 6 mos. or so.


As regards compatibility, we have an olderscanner (Epson Perfection 1610) and when both devices our connected, our computer crashes (OS: Windows XP, SP2). Last update on the Epson driver on their website was October 2002, which tells you that the scanner is probably obsolete in computer terms.It is probably time to upgrade that device, but I still think that the driver conflictshould make the compatibility rating lower.



Another nit, is that I do not believe there is a way to make the connection when you start up your computer, other thanloading the NetGear Smartup Wizard in your Startup folder - all this means is that each time you start up, you have to click close once the connection has been established on the wizard. An unnecessary click! It is not like I am going to decide every time I boot the computer, to change my connection settings, etc.

Found price very good, on sale, had delivered. Cheaper to have delivered versus a 40 mile round trip drive. Works Great!

First adapter didn't work but second worked as advertised. Shows 270MBps throughput connection (haven't tested it with actual files but HTPC using this is just as fast on internet as desktop computer directly wired to the router). Haven't had any disconnect issues either (something I have seen with other adapters from other manufacturers).
