This USB hub is already third one in my possession for two years. Previous two from another manufactures were smaller, but cables and connectors were too soft and too flexible. So finally those two failed because wires/connectors took apart. Smaller is not always good - malfunction of the first one caused power troubles and damage of USB HDD - because tiny ground part of power cord was broken inside somewhere.

This one looks slightly bigger but cables are hard, connectors and body looks solid - hope it will work longer. I also like design and yellow/green leds inside.

Though more expensive, if you are adding ports to a desktop, a powered unit is the best way to go. My MagicJack works through this hub with no loss of volume or sound quality. One port is top mounted which is handy if you attach temporary devices such asflash drives, cameras, or mp3's, otherwise it's a waste to have the port there. I put a piece of tape over it when not in use. This unit is small and light weight so you'll have to anchor it if you want it to stay in one place. Having said that, it's built much sturdier than most hubs that I've seen, so I expect it to last a while. The recessed led's behind the front grill is a nice touch. Overall, I really like this product!!

Have had the N4PUDH for over a year with absolutely zero problems. Connects printer, wireless mouse and wireless keyboard and use fourth to connect camera and portable GPS device regularly. Have never had an issue with connectivity fast recognition of devices when connected. Recommend this for anyone needing additional USB capability. (Using XP Pro)
