As a technician for Circuit City's Firedog operation, I have the pleasure of installing at least one of these a week, with the inevitable result being a call to the customer saying that perhaps the extra $5 for a Linksys card is worth it after all. Thesecards are neither auto-recognized by XP or Vista, nor do they have drivers available for download. They work reasonably well in Windows 2000. Please, save yourself or your computer-guy a headache and get something better.

I have installed two of these on separate computers and they work just fine. The only problem I had (and it was minor) was with the driver. But all I had to do was go on line and find a workable driver, no big deal for the cost.

Tried this nic on two computers and the only thing they caused was a big head ache. Buy something better than this, maybe a D-link or Linksys.
