These HDMI cables are half the price of Monster HDMI cables and do the exact same thing. I couldn't see spending $100 on a cable. If you are looking for an up conversion to 480p, 720p, 1080i or 1080p...this is exactly what you're looking for. The maindifference I saw was in the water scenes of movies. Make sure that your TV, DVD player or receiver has HDMI.

Good HDMI for short runs

This cable was exactly what I needed for a short run. The Exterior sheathing on the cable gives it high marks for durability. Like most HDMI's you just plug it in and go and this one is no exception.
