Overlord (Xbox 360)

Controlling a mysterious figure that has inherited the legacy of the evil, long-dead Overlord, the player emerges, near death, from the ruins of the old Overlord’s Dark Tower. Only the player’s actions will determine if they will rise to become the new all-powerful Overlord. Played out with plenty of black humor and dark irony, the game will immerse players in twisted parodies of classic fantasy scenarios and characters.

Overlord’s key innovation is the introduction of an array of impish creatures: the Minions. They believe you are the old Overlord reborn and will use their unique skills to fetch, fight and die for you. Throughout the game, players will actively control a horde of these gremlin-like critters and they’ll follow your every instruction no matter how despotic or, for the Minions, life threatening it is.

Explore a twisted fantasy world: Lose yourself as the central character in an unraveling story full of evil, lust, power, magic and impish humor. Defeat the seven fallen heroes to rule unchallenged over the entire world.

Become the Overlord: Forge powerful weapons and armor, adding sacrificial minions to boost their strength.

Control a horde of minions: Intuitive controls put evil-minded and totally loyal minions at your disposal—often quite literally. Gain minions by killing the local inhabitants and their flocks of sheep.

Multiplayer: Attempt to dominate other Overlords and their miserable hordes online in battle mode.

Build your Dark Tower: Your Dark Tower will grow in strength and stature as you do, dominating the landscape for miles around.
