Great unit. Firmware Available for day/date issue

Great unit but it has a design flaw. As several people mentioned, the day does not match with date. But, thanks to all of you (including myself) who brought up this issue, Philips has recently posted a firmware for this unit to fix day/date sync issue.
Please visit PhilipsUSA web site and search for AJL308 to download latest firmware.

I got this as a 24th birthday present for my computer-whiz boyfriend and he loves it. The software is pretty basic. There are some annoying things about the clock that I read from other reviews but still decided to buy the it. If you buy it, buy it because you want a clock, and take the fact that can play mp3's and see photos of your friends as an added bonus. There are some things that aren't very intuitive, but its pretty easy to use and fun and exciting to look at. Don't pay more than $100 for it.

I bought this master piece 2 weeks ago and found the one i'm looking for long time. It has everything in it: FM, MP3 player, Picture viewer, Alarm, Divx/Mpeg/Avi/Mov filetype video viewer. The picture quality is great. Above all it has USB reader, can add pendrives/external HDs.
